Minthis Hills is designed to be at one with nature and it is a fundamental part of the whole concept of barefoot luxury. It is an environmentally-friendly, sustainable resort committed to protecting and enhancing the landscape for future generations. Where possible, existing trees have been preserved and tens of thousands of indigenous trees and shrubs will be planted to enhance the land, while maintaining its unique character. Landscaping has already commenced and the first 250 trees, 2000 shrubs and 3500 grape vines have already been planted.
Residences are designed to disappear into the landscape, with green buffers ensuring you are in your own world, away from any neighbours. Featuring solar panels for water heating and advanced, self-ventilation systems, each villa is extremely energy efficient, with water recycled to irrigate the gardens, the golf course and the resort. Many other environmental initiatives will also be announced.
